Pasta Gnocchi
This place is the hidden gem eatery in Maricopa. So many culinary treats, not just your hole in the wall restaurant. This place delivers exquisite food. Try the gnocchi, you won't regret it. The dining area has its own charm, giving you that down home feel. The staff and owner(s) there are friendly, welcoming, appreciative of your business, and they go out of their way. Love this place. Don't wait. Try it!
Country Fried Steak
Absolutely wonderful! Tasted like my grandma made growing up on the Midwest. Smashed potatoes were really tasty! And the gravy was also best i have tasted in years.

Traditional French Toast
My brother drives down from Mesa every other week to eat brunch with us at Roots. It's the only place he wants to go because it has never failed to be anything but awesome. French pressed coffee, orange juice, and a multitude of breakfast/brunch items from which to choose, but my favorite is the French Toast. Always hot from the grill and covered with fresh strawberries--SO good. The service is wonderful and the prices reasonable--we enjoy it to the max! So thankful for Roots!
Chicken Pot Pie*
Chicken pot pie was the best I've ever had, the crust was mounted high and very delicious, the cream sauce was perfect, plenty of chicken and veggies, the best I've ever had.
Roots Bloody Mary
Roots serves a world-class Bloody Mary that's beautiful to look at and delicious to drink! Everything I've tried at this restaurant has been exceptional! I brag about Maricopa having one of the finest restaurants in the state all over Phoenix yet no one believes me. I'm just so thankful to have Roots here so my kids will drive to Maricopa to visit me.
Garlic Shrimp Bruschetta
The 5-shrimp bruschetta with pesto was delicious. The shrimp were garlic seasoned tastely, large and completely peeled! My wife makes a meal of this lightly toasted bread/pesto/shrimp dish.
Coffee Creme Brulee with Strawberries
I LOVE THE CREME BRULE !!! IT IS DELICIOUS!! I ALSO LOVE THE BELLINI!! IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO MEET FRIENDS AND GET A DRINK, DESSERT OR LOTS OF FANTASTIC FOOD TO CHOOSE FROM.
Veal Milanese* with Lemon and Capers
Roots is an American success story. Chef Chris has created a place that is both cozy and high-end all in one. He and his servers make sure that you feel welcomed and appreciated, then ply you with some of the best cooking that you will ever experience. The entrees are well thought out, making sure that the main dish and sides complement each other, and that the dishes are seasoned to perfection. The Veal Milanese that I picked above, is a perfect example of different flavors (Lemon and Capers) coming together to make good - great! No matter what you tastes are, Chris makes sure that you have something that you will love! Special diet? No problem - Just ask and they will accommodate you!! You will be hard pressed to find better food anywhere!!

We had a few different dishes crab cakes, traditional breakfast with a pancake, omelet and we all split the churro french toast ? Everything was soooo delicious we will definitely be coming back soon!!! Thank you Roots Eatery
